Why are alcohol-free drinks still so hard to find at major airports like Heathrow?
Despite rising interest in mindful drinking, travel retail is stuck in the past—offering whisky, wine, and not much else. On a recent layover, I found just one premium sparkling tea in duty-free, a few beers in other shops, and some functional drinks like Trip. That’s it.
Airport retail has a blind spot. Travellers are ready. The shelves aren’t.
